SCIT inaugurates five weeks course on software solution design for Japanese students
The domain of education for the business schools is vast. From the
simple business managementMBA Programs to
the part time MBA, business schools have to cover multiple
aspects. For the IT B schools, the
onus of delivering superior quality academic education is even greater. Business Management Course Pune has
always been high on the priority list of students. However, the true impact of
opting for MBA programs is felt only
when you choose a good institution from the existing list of IT B schools. This is the reason why
places like Symbiosis Institutes are
amongst the most revered academic institutions in the country. A clear indicator
of the reputation of the IT B schools
is the amount of innovation or newness that they can add to their existing list
of programs.
In line with this insight, the
Symbiosis Center for Information & Technology, part of the prestigious Symbiosis Institutes in Pune in
association with Cubist Edunet Pvt. Ltd, initiated a unique 5 week course on
software solution design especially for a delegation of Japanese students who
came in all the way from Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan. The program was
kick started earlier this month on 12th August 2013. The unique
module is designed to touch upon crucial aspects of the subjects like Software
Engineering, Unified Modeling Language, Software Design and Design Patterns,
Object Oriented Programming. In fact, the SCIT tradition of using a holistic
learning approach has ensured the inclusion of a Mini Project and Industry
visit as well. This will guarantee that the students get relevant exposure
along with proper academic training.

and has a total of 17 participants. The inauguration happened with a

also an ice breaking session where the students were made to feel at home and
introduced to the multiple facets of Life at SCIT.
As an attempt to further facilitate
the stay of these international students at the SCIT campus, the management has
introduced a unique buddy system wherein a student representative from the
current batches at SCIT will help their international counterparts to adjust to
the life and culture at SCIT as a friend and mentor. Currently, more than forty
students have volunteered to be this activity. After all, such initiatives
prove to be an excellent platform for the exchange of culture, ideas,
experiences thereby facilitating a lot of learning amongst the students.
